Evening at Apple Blossom Barn

Hello there
Do you sometimes feel there are not enough hours in the day
between all the housework, running the kids about, doing homework
feeding animals
making meals
baking
shopping
laundry and all the rest..........
sometimes it is just nice to sit and paint a wicker basket ahem!
Ok I am just avoiding house work anyway
add linen lining, sew on a duck egg blue trim
it looks much nicer now
oh and it has wheels so
the kids climb in and pull each other about!

My cottage at evening time

Lots of tea lights

My home is 301 years old
all the walls are uneven,
floors slope
but it is home..
can you spot our wedding photo
Best wishes
to all......

  1. I was all set to admire the lovely job you did on the basket but got thoroughly distracted by the magnificent fireplace. What a wonderful house you have.

  3. I love your beautiful home! My aunt lives in an old house so I know what you mean about everything being uneven, but the character is something our newer home lacks :)
    Blessings,

  6. Just popping back as I had to chuckle re your comment on the shops in my village. I plonked all that post together and forgot to say that the shops are close to the city centre, so the pics of the flowers in vases etc are from there. There is sweet ahem in our village although it is bonny. We have a coop selling an array of unappetising goods and not much else! I love my weekends when I head off to the city!
I bet the Rachel Aswell curtains were expensive. Gorgeous though. xxx

  7. I'll do anything to avoid the housework...it's so repetitive and boring!

    Have a happy weekend. :0)
